2) Installation position: Direction of dial shall be vertically placed and squarely faced against viewing angle.

3) Degree of vibration and shock: Pointer should be stayed within the tolerance of measurement accuracy.

4) Pressure medium: Non-erosive fluids or gasses (Wet part material should be SUS316 so that non-corrosive performance can be assured.)

5) Working pressure: Upper limit is specified in the table below.

Less than 2/3 by Max. pressure

(1) Constant pressure Less than 3/4 by Max. pressure
(2) Fluctuating pressure
Vacuum pressure Maximum pressure

(1) Constant pressure It continuously changes at a rate per second not exceeding 1% of the pressure span and at per minute not exceed 5% of the span.
(2) Fluctuating pressure It fluctuates one (1) to 10% at a rate per second.

Steam

1) Environmental Temp.: The place where the temperature temporarily becomes high like steam at the start of operation is well controlled by the range of 10 to 50℃.

2) Other conditions: 2), 3), 4) and 5) as stipulated in "General", above, applied.

3) Symbol M: Indication per application

Heatproof

1) Environmental Temp.: The place where the ambient temperature comes to 80℃ in maximum. If it falls in out the range, mutual discussion should be needed to determine an optimized value.

2) Other conditions: 2), 3), 4) and 5) as stipulated in "General", above, applied.

3) Symbol H: Indication per application

Vibration-proof
(for Intense vibration)

1) Pulsation or vibration: It has the pointer indicate exceeding value on tolerance of accuracy. Ts degree is specified in the table below.

Pulsation range

No malfunction even within the accuracy tolerance is detected once pulsation less than 1 Hz has been continuously applied.

Max. Pressure(Mpa) Pulsation Range
(% vs. Mpa)
Frequency
Vibration-resistant Intense vibration-resistant
Mpa ≤ 10 30-70 15,000 {500,000}
10 < Mpa ≤ 60 40-60 10,000
60 < Mpa ≤ 160 40-60 5,000
Vibration range

No malfunction even within the accuracy tolerance is detected after the resonate vibration of the range specified in the table below was applied in three directions as front and back, left and right as well as up and down once a gauge has been mounted in the regular position.

Note that if there is no resonance point in the table, the vibration with +/- 6.9 m/s and 30 Hz per direction for 2 hours (100 hours for Intense vibration-proof) should be applied.

FRQ Amplitude(mm) Acceleration m/s2
5-13.2 ±1.0
13.2-100 ±6.9

2) Other conditions: 1), 2), 4) and 5) as stipulated in "General", above, applied.

3) Symbol V: Indication per Application

Steam/Vibration proof

1) Conditions: Both functions available.

2) Symbol MV: Indication per application.

Heat-/Vibration proof

1) Conditions: Both functions available.

2) Symbol HV: Indication per application.

Closed The closed type gauge is protected against splashing for sach as outdoor use.

In parenthesis, it's defined as our specifications for performance improvement and does not fall under the JIS B 7505.
